Parallel Grid Application Framework

The Parallel Grid Application Framework has the goal to develop distributed parallel programming methods that will encourage programmers to port computation intensive tasks to the Grid. The project focuses on two aspects. First, it focuses on ease of programmability by providing a pattern based approach to creating the grid applications. Second, it will focus on handling Grid computing characteristics called non-functional concernts automatically for the user. Such characteristics include: selecting resources, load balancing, and grid latency. At the design level, the framework requires very little in terms of software packages installed at the grid node and it self deploys.
